About Frodio

Frodio is a social radio automation system, developed by Tochka K, team behind Russia.ru, Station20.ru, DCP24.ru development and many other projects. The aim of the project is to give both the listeners and the broadcasters a radio station, that they could truly call their own, favorite radio station.

Frodio platform encourages the listeners to evaluate any radio stations they listen to using their Frodio accounts or indeed any other radio station (FM, AM, Online radio) using Frodio Geo mobile services. Frodio employs a model that is engaging the listeners as if it is a social game: respects and experience, trophies, awards. The broadcasters can see who, when and how did tune in to listen to the broadcast and even more – real geographical location with the instant reaction from the actual listeners. Rotation stats, industry standard reports for artists and copyright holders (paid for subscription) accurate up to a single listener - this is an information radio stations could only dream about before. Frodio is the first radio station platform to offer full two way integration and data exchange with established services: Last.fm, SoundCloud, Discogs, MusicBrainz, PromoDJ and full integration with social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, VK.com and many more coming.

Frodio offers simplest integration of existing radio stations into the platform. All you need to start your own broadcast or to connect an already existing one is an audio stream with tags to connect all the capabilities and data integration to any radio station, broadcasting on internet. Frodio offers widgets for instant setup of the broadcast on any website as well as iPhone and Android (coming soon) apps. What makes it even easier to set up a radio station using Frodio platform is the fact, that Frodio is a cloud-based platform, so you don’t need to run your own streaming server if you don’t wish to do so - simply upload the playlist to the Frodio servers and we will do the rest for you (paid for subscription). In other words, we are in the cloud and we hold the load, allowing great expandability - from 1 listener to 1000 in a second.
